Who do you love?
Childbirth, surgeries, ER visits, divorces, heartaches, life. Stuff happens to all of us. It can be so painful and oh-so-joyful. Who helps you through the hard times? Who do you share your happy stuff with?
In the past eight years, for me, it’s been Suzie, Ron, Mel, Margaret, Lindz, my son, Casey, and my co-workers with their wicked senses of coping humor! And really, you guys. This blog has been therapeutic for me.
What/Who gets you through, and how?

ted, me, too! Ever since I was a kid music has helped me through tough times. Now, I can’t run without it.

Sherri, I’ll have to join you and Ted on that one…MUSIC truly does soothe the soul…and I listen to a little of it all (ie. rock, country, top 40, etc..).
TONIGHT, I believe a lil’ Lynyrd Skynyrd would be just what the doctor ordered…perhaps “Tuesday’s Gone” or “Freebird”. Billy Powell, one of two of the last surviving members and pianist of the ORIGINAL Lynyrd Skynyrd band, passed away at 12:55a.m. this morning….he’s preceded in death by band members Ronnie Van Zandt, Allen Collins, Steve Gaines, & Cassie Gaines. Ronnie Van Zandt, Steve Gaines, and Cassie Gaines were killed in a tragic plane crash on October 20, 1977. The band was enroute from a Wednesday night performance in Greenville, SC to a Friday night concert at LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY in BATON ROUGE.

Good timing for this topic. We had an ER visit tonight. HT had a crazy high fever. She was acting pretty goofy and asking me if I saw the “spider webs” so I took her in. She is medicated and sleeping like a log now and expected to make a full recovery.

Today as I was driving to work it was snowing! It made me happy. Called the husband first, then the parental units.
On a day to day basis it’s co-workers, coffee group, walking buddy and wine-thirty!

My husband helps me though everything. He is my life. We have been through alot in the 4 years we have been married. We got married in 2005. Had our first son in oct. of the same year. He had a really bad accident in september of the same year. He was ran over by an 18-wheeler in Carthage. No he wasn’t in a car he was working on it. But he made it home 2 days after i had our son. He was in LSU and i was in a hospital in Center, Tx. He wasn’t susposed to walk for 3 months but he did before. He has unbelieveable well-power. He show me that since we made it though this we can make it though anything life throws our way. He is my ROCK!!!!
