There is so much wrong going on I don’t even know where to start.

Your search button resembles a cigarette. I kinda did a double take.

    My favorite part..

Kid: I wanted to do it because it’s fun to do bad things like drive into a car.

Reporter: Did you know you could have perhaps killed someone?

Kid: Yes but I wanted to do hood rat stuff with my friends.

Reporter: You don’t think you should be punished for all of this?

Kid: Just a little bit, no video games for a whole weekend.

“it’s fun to do bad things” and his 7 year old smoking friend!

Then his idea of punishment, “no video games for a whole week”. Then grandma (where are the parents) TALKING about whipping his butt… can’t do that, may hurt his self esteem, his confidence, and stunt his social growth. We are a product of our environment and if the child has no structure or discipline, then there will be no discipline and he/she will run amok.

I saw this news cast the day this happened and just shook my head. That kid is heading for a rough life and will most likely end up dead way to young or at the least in prison.

How do you fix it… hold adults accountable and make a few examples. A hand slap for an eye does not deter crime, an eye for an eye (crime fits the punishment) only slightly deters. When you step the penalty up and the penalty is harsh as it should be then things might change and people may get there act together.

sheesh, I actually sugar coated that ?

OK, I have to be fair. I’ve been teasing Jody a bit for borrowing ideas from her fellow bloggers, but she posted this video on her site several days ago.

I guess what’s good for the goose is good for the gander.

That said, I think his punishment should be a little more severe. How about she take his driving privileges away for a month?

She did? I’ll never hear the end of this! CT sent it to me and the sibs and I have been commenting on it through emails for the past couple of days. Ha! Oh well, I’m sure it’s been posted on quite a few sites around the country.

If we were allowed to rip off the A$$ of these children like how we were raised it might help. Like the grandmother said, If I wouldn’t get arrested. Most of the time that’s what some are scarred of, thank you government! The rest are just raised by parents that shouldn’t even have children.

His parents clearly failed him by not providing a booster seat. Have you driven an SUV lately? It’s difficult seeing over the steering wheel if you are short.
