Triple Threat Caught On Commode
My sister’s cat, Sam Jackson, is very interesting. He’s crosseyed, gay and pees in the toilet. Here he is exhibiting the latter of the three. More on his other quirks in another post.Â
So, apparently this is not uncommon. Sammy taught himself. Can cats be taught to do this? Or is it just something some do? Â

Best video ever. Yes you can train them to do that but it’s not easy. I am still trying to get Spider to pee in the litterbox.

“More on his other quirks in another post.”
Is that a promise….or a threat???

Sam Jackson is napping on top of a cheerleader pom pom inside of an Easter Basket decorated with pink bunnies and white ribbon — sporting a diamond encrusted cat collar as I write this. He is in touch with his feminine side.

I’m guessing he also really likes Broadway musicals.

“Cats” is his favorite.

CT, do you know how you would go about teaching a cat to do this? Think of how much better this would be than having a litter box.

Ha! Crank up the volume on this video at your desk at work and see what happens!!!!!!
Report back.

Sam taught his self by watching my very immodest sons who never shut the door. I hear you can put the litter box inside the toilet and the eventually take the litter box out after the cat gets used to going on the toilet. Sounds like a gross process.

Gross, but effective. Thanks, Su!

Reminds me of when I tried to train me pet Blue Whale in me neighbor’s swimming pool. You should have seen the look on the neighbor kiddies faces when they tried out the new “float toy”.

I think I know who Captain Bob is.

Here is a “how to” site for the whole process Sherri. The pics are amusing.

This is why I have dogs.

I know this is sort of weird but I’ve now decided to get a cat box and use it instead of the toilet.
July 16th, 2008 at 9:44 am
rt, will you train yourself to use it?
July 16th, 2008 at 11:18 am
LOLZ! RT that is funny!

my mom doesnt believe in litter boxes, she thinks the’re gross. that’s why she used to hate cats, because she doesnt believe animals should use the bathroom inside the house. i say better a litterbox than a houseplant or the bathtub drain.
yep, the bathtup drain.
so, we rescued a cat, only to be trained to think it was a dog. it goes to the door and scratches to be let out, just like our dog spike did.
funny thing is, on random occasions when the cat gets locked inside, it goes potty on the bathfub drain. he didnt figure out the toile (or he didnt want to fall in) but he did at least figure out a place to go that’s one of the most appropriate places and not really hard to clean up.
