Tougher than “Patchy Dense Fog”!
This fella was captured in Meteorologist Joe Haynes’ yard in Bossier City, Louisiana on Monday.Â
Oh sure, Joe came to work with a dramatic tale about how the gator was “put down” by wildlife experts who were afraid the 8-foot reptile would return to devour pets and children in the neighborhood. Â
That was our Joe, the environmentalist.
But what really happened to the big lizard? Â
”All in a day’s work. Being a KTBS Meteorologist, I can wrassle an 8 foot gator in the morning and then wear my new belt and shoes to do the 5 pm weather.”
That’s what we thought! Upon further questioning, Joe’s meteorologist, Texas A&M geek-like exterior began to crumble as some rarely seen Ninja Weather Guy emerged and started throwing around words like, “…we rolled for hours, the gator biting me…finally, I pinned him like a spot on a map!”
This is much more than a ‘pesky upper level low’….and Joe knows it.Â
What do you think happened to that gator?Â

Some people will do anything to not mow their yard!

Joe put his ear piece in just like every day during his forecasts… got his bluetooth set up with Capt KooKoo and did exactly as he was told in order to battle the Gator! Good thing Joe can run… cause that was his direction.

The Gator is the Haynes new family pet, and he’s in the living room watching Crocodile Dundee.

I’ll pass that on, turtle. Producer Clay Kirby dared me to say that on the air. It was his line.

At least it wasn’t in the sink or the fridge like the snake. Now THAT would be creepy!

Maybe the gator “ate your baby!” You know the one that got kidnapped! Is that storyline still going on?
