To TV or not TV
They tell me I’m on TV for a living, but I have no proof of that.
See, somehow, something happened to our satellite dish at the beginning of the summer and my son and I haven’t watched TV since.
All. Summer. Long.
We seized the opportunity. Rented and bought movies with reckless abandon. Sometimes, we’ll watch 3 or 4 in one day/night.
Independent films like ‘Little Miss Sunshine’. Local films with friends in them like ‘You Better Run’. The Doors. Animal House. Fight Club. Hot Rod. Meet Joe Black. I Am Sam. Billy Madison. Raising Arizona. Man on the Moon. One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. Tonight’s theatre presentation: GoodFellas.
Only because it’s almost football season, I called the dish repairman. Soon, we’ll be back in the world of television. But, Casey and I will always remember this summer of movies.

….the ending scene where Henry gets the paper…an the line “now im just regular smuck” that always gets me ,great movie,Pesci is awesome.

I love watching the mob movies. I’ve actually got Goodfellas; along with The Godfather & The Godfather Part II….oh yeah, and Scarface (another Al Pacino flick).

I have not had Cable Television for about 1yr now
No biggie
I get all my News and Entertainment with Movies DVD’s ,Internet and Read BOOK”S ??
Also spend much more time Playing the Guitar,And creating Original Music. Semi- Pro Musician.
And and also just love to meet friends people for lunch and coffee for conversation and social stimulation.
