To Love & To Cherish

My sister/one of our commenters, Suzie Talley, and Bruce Seelinger just got engaged.  I was in NC this weekend and got Bruce’s take on becoming a member of our family.

    Suzie, congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Captain Bob Says:

This guy just ain’t funny. Are you sure you want to let him in your family?

  3. jchristie Says:

Sounds like he’ll fit right in, Cap’n Bob.

  4. suzie talley Says:

Cap’n Bob—you have no idea how many people have tried to enter the Talley clan and failed. Not everyone can relate to the Talley sense of humor. Bruce gets it.

  5. Captain Bob Says:

It’s Captain Bob not Cap’n Bob.

  6. Sherri Says:

Cap’n Bob, Suzie’s right. Sometimes, it’s just nice if someone who comes into the path of our attempts at humor doesn’t run away in horror. Bruce has gone way beyond that. He deserves some sort of award. Hey, the Talley Cup is still in my garage! It’s normally handed out at reunions to the most brilliant person in the Talley family. I won it for guessing the number between 1 and 100 that was closest to the number Aunt Dee had in mind.

  7. Sherri Says:

Okay Captain Bob. A little sensitive today, aren’t we?

  8. suzie talley Says:

    Cap’n Bob is certankerous!

  9. suzie talley Says:

Sherri—wern’t you the only one guessing the number between 1 and 100? I think Aunt Dee wanted to off that cup.

  10. Mel Says:

Suz, I am very excited for you and if you don’t invite me to the wedding I will invite myself like you did to Margaret’s wedding.

  11. suzie talley Says:

oh and don’t forget….like I did to LindsAy’s wedding too!!

  12. Sherri Says:

    Friends invite themselves.

  13. Mel Says:

Can’t wait! Plus you get more gifts when uninvited people show up.
