I just bought the ATT Vu phone made by LG! You can watch TV on but that is not why I bought it…dig the touch screen etc…

  2. Mel Says:

Suz, do you get everything first or do you just invent it.

  3. Sherri Says:

Mel, Suzie invented everything we use to communicate. And she did that while she was tapering for Ironman Australia, where she beat the pros. Seriously, I’ve never met anyone who has accomplished so much and remained so humble and encouraging to others.

  4. Sherri Says:

Su…just checked out the Vu…it’s so pretty!

  5. Mel Says:

I don’t know what “tapering” means but I’m sure it must be a reason to hate her more.

  6. Sherri Says:

    Ha—Mel! That’s funny.

Tapering is working out less prior to a big race so you can rest up and give it all you got. Or in Suzie’s case, so she can come up with a solution to world peace.

  7. Sherri Says:

Wait… I’m so fixing my sister up with Chuck Norris!

  8. HRB Says:

Suzie doesn’t have to train for races, she just thinks about it and is able to win.

  9. Ken Says:

Hey Suzie have you ever seen Team Hoyt at a race?

  10. jody Says:

Sher Bear- Are you bringing doughnuts to the station for “Doughnut Day?” I mean since we’re holding up the station until your return and all.

  11. Sherri Says:

Ken, Suzie’s boyfriend, Bruce, took pics of Team Hoyt in this year’s Boston Marathon. They’re in this slide show on this site: Talk about inspiration. Su, have you ever seen them in a triathlon?

Jody, I’m sure tomorrow is sprout or tofu day. I’ll see you tomorrow.

  12. Sherri Says:

You have to check the race results to see if Suzie actually raced. There’s no way to see the speed of light.

  13. Ken Says:

Thanks Sherri, that is so amazing. I cry like a stinking baby every time I see the video about them.

  14. sherri Says:

Yeah, Ken…how about this man pulling his disabled son in a buoy in ocean waters for two miles via a rope in his teeth.

  15. WRyker Says:

It is phenomenal and each one of us when we think we’re having a bad day or need some kind of inspiration can look at these two and remember things aren’t always as bad as perhaps we originally thought, or perhaps we have a little more inside that we can give to go that extra step.

  16. sherri Says:

Ken, WRyker…seems it’s a harness with the buoy. I was wrong. Anyway…about to post the video you two might have already seen so those who’ve never seen these two will know what we’re talking about.
