Thanks for the motivation!

travel_g_boston_740.jpgThe following are among the local athletes who competed in the 2008 Boston Marathon this morning.  Thanks to each of you for inspiring those of us who are coming back from injuries, those just discovering the joy of running and anyone trying to ‘go for it’ no matter what the endeavor.

I’d love to post your race experience.  Email me at stalley@ktbs.com and send a picture!  You had a lot of support back home.  Read on.

Congratulations!

“Team Nation” (profiles behind-the-scenes peeps) is usually posted here on Mondays. Look here for the profile of Casey Habich, KTBS photojournalist, Tuesday.

  2. Mel Says:

My hats off to all of you as I could not run around the block.

  3. CT Says:

Way to go Suzie! Some of those times blow me away. Good job everyone.

  4. HRB Says:

I could run way faster than that….I just don’t want to.

  5. sherri Says:

Yes, HRB, you could and you have.

  6. CT Says:

Suzie’s pace for the entire marathon is faster than my pace when I run two miles. And Ryan Patton…. That is amazing. He must be part Kenyan.

  7. Nacho Says:

IMO, if you’re running a marathon in those times, you’re not human anyway.

If anyone sees Big Joe before I do, tell him “Papelbon” says “I WILL NOT SUCCOMB TO PEER PRESSURE TO RUN 26.2 MILES!! It looks painful.” Dangit!!
