Your family: I’m the middle child of three and grew up going to big family reunions and Christmas gatherings (I have eleven aunts and uncles and too many cousins to count!!)

Favorite food: Roast Beef/Beef tips/baked potatoes
Nickname: “Flash Dance”
Favorite book: Harry Potter series (I like all 7 of them)

Biggest challenge: Right now, it’s pulling off the weekend producing position
Craziest thing you’ve ever done: I missed a flight in Dallas and hitched a ride with six strangers at the airport. The seven of us pitched in to rent a car and took the three hour drive to Shreveport. I prayed all the way, and talked on the phone with my boyfriend and mother! Once we made it to Shreveport, I had to take a taxi to work on my overnight shift.

I always heard producers were hot, now we get to see who all the reporters and anchors get to work with behind the scenes. Eye candy in the newsroom…that’s always good!

It’s just so hard to believe that’s our Kesha out there on the field! She has so much energy and full of laughter. So different than what we see here. She is a great producer and such a joy to work with!

I saw Kesha cheer the other night, and she’s awesome! But what’s so funny is, she’s so different in the newsroom! At work she wears a hoodie with her glasses, and she hardly ever says a word! I keep trying to get her to break out into a cheer in the middle of the newsroom but no luck!

This is what I love about Lakesha: At work, it’s true, she’s so dressed like the Unibomber…she dresses way down, wears a hoodie and hardly talks at all. But she gets it done! The girl can write and produce! Then, when she’s dancing, dang…where did this girl come from? Cool contrast.
This is why I do this Team Nation stuff…what goes on behind the scenes is sometimes so much more fascinating!
