Yes, Harris. I’m part Cherokee from Oklahoma on my mom’s side. I thought it was a small fraction, but did some research after my dad passed away and realized we had a lot of Cherokee on his side that he wasn’t even aware of. Are you from around here? I know about the Choctaw-Apache tribe around Ebarb and Zwolle.

Sherry, I live in Valliant (McCurtain Co.) OK. Originally, I believe, my ancestors are from around the Philadelphia, Miss. area (think Trail of Tears). What is the Choctaw-Apache tribe? I take it they are inter-related? I have traveled the western half of the U.S. and the only Apaches I have known were from Arizona.
