Ha…I’ll have to ask Marcy to ‘weigh in’ on this, too. Here’s how it went: The woman was a guest in the newsroom. She’s very sweet. I think she meant to say that we look bigger on TV than in person. Marcy and I just kinda froze and gave one of those fake laughs after it was said.

And yes, Hil, I think sometimes people are used to talking about us at home when the TV is on, and when they see us in person, they somehow think we still can’t hear them. Ha. Just wait until the DTV transition when we’ll be able to see and hear everything that goes on in homes across the ArkLaTex!

The viewer that made those remarks to you and Marcy, are they still alive or are they sleeping with the fish??? What exactly was the fallout from those remarks??…LOL!!! I know that if I had said something like that; I would’ve had to find a safe house to live in or be placed in a witness protection program…lol!!
