We can simply educate her on the many awards and honors bestowed on aspiring students at NSU - seems like the "Lady of the Bracelet" was the "pageant" back then and not sure if you would have participated in that or not. However, as you and I know, the Mr & Miss NSU was for those Mensa types of students (Sher - just go with this....)that the rest of us admired, respected and wanted to emulate. Seriously, you must have been quite involved to get the necessary nominations - can't remember who won when I graduated, but I was very involved on campus my senior year and missed the boat in that regard (I was really involved with the dorm Resident Assistant's group on campus - imagine me being an R.A. (scary))! However, my fraternity awarded me "Most Scholastic" (haaaa!!!) and Most Athletic my senior year at our annual banquet. However, LindsAy won't read this, so you are safe!! I didn't recognize him, then looked into his eyes. It was Jake! Jake, in the picture on this post, playing the Lego container! How cool is that! I haven't seen him in years! George--please, I'm begging you...don't ever bring up the Miss NSU subject anywhere around LindsAy. This will open a huge spat. She thinks it's a pageant.
