I think this is great for your economy that has been struggling for so long. I’m not sure what it means for the “average Joe”, looking for work, but it seems to be quite a positive for the city…

I understand that N. LA leasing is being offered on very nice terms right now. It’s not feasable for one to drill their own oil well, so being offered up to 25% royalty plus damages is no low bid, but rather a steal on the landowners part. Oh, and those “crooks” are offering you a commodity you REALLY like having.

Yeah, ole JR will be next in town …swaggering around in that big cowboy hat and wooing all the hoes as Turtle so elequently named them.

Speaking of oil and gas, the crooks have been trying to swindle my Mother out of hers. Seems they are very persistent in their harrassment too and don’t give up.
They think money is important to everyone and that everyone can be bought. It’s the old, I’ll take the gold mine and give you the shaft. People beware, most of these people are middle men and ladies too. They want to buy low and sell high. Don’t sell your mineral rights to the scoundrels and if you lease make sure you get a good deal and a fair cut of anything coming out of the ground. Remember the old song “Smiling Faces”…..it’s true.

The Gray Lady has discovered Shreveport!!!

Never thought I would see the day.

At least the reporter, David Carr, referred to “charm”….not once, but twice! Also, “hospitality”.

I just wish someone had taken Mr. Carr to Strawn’s and gotten him some strawberry pie…
