Cubicle Chaos
(L to R) Fletch’s desk, items on cpb’s desk, cpb’s cool desk, Redford’s wardrobe on his desk, Erin Moore’s neat desk, Jody’s desk.Â
Work in a box? We work in cubicles, primarily so we can communicate freely with each other. In the chaos that ensues via the nature of our work, sometimes our work areas are lacking in decor.  We thought you might have some ideas for items we can use to decorate our cubicles.  Â

Sherri, I dont’ see a pic of your area! Also, think KTBS would mind if I move my work area to join Jody in her cube??

Mine’s boring, but I’ll include a picture later today or tomorrow. You’d probably be a great improvement to Jody’s work area!

Fletch needs to have a garage sale! I bet he would find Cliff in there somewhere.

Uh…Sherri. It is cbp’s desk, not cpb. I’m offended! Any hoo,my favorites are ALL of my LSU items (Geaux Tigers!), my numchucks(sp), and my yiddish word definitions. And don’t forget…it’s ok to say Merry Christmas.

Sherri, you may want to suggest to Jody that eating/using less of whatever is in that big red container (I’m guessing coffee creamer) may mitigate the necessity for that plunger.

A college professor once told me that a clean desk was the sign of a reporter with a lot of time on their hands. I just keep mine messy so my bosses think I’m a busy reporter. I’ve learned from some of the greats!!!

I have to differ with Ed, because I always do. A clean and ORGANIZED desk means a person is very detailed oriented and because that person is organized, that person has more time to do more work and can be more productive, as opposed to looking through the junk on Ed’s desk and wasting precious moments in life that you’ll never get back. Love harassing you Ed.

All that a good reporter needs is a pen, pad, a working phone and a rolodex. Anything else is just taking up space. Except for the toys I have on my desk. They’re stress relievers.
