Tim Robbins’ Controversial Speech-Part 1

Friday, April 18th, 2008

I recorded Tim Robbin’s speech in Las Vegas this week.  It’s in three parts about eight minutes a piece.  Regardless of whether you agree with it, it’s something I thought many of you witmongers would admire for its humor and wisdom.

AB See!

desperate-housewives.jpgGot a chance this week in Las Vegas to see some of the new ABC lineup for later this summer and this fall.

One of the funniest will first air the week of June 23rd, when ABC premiers six new shows.  It’s called “Wipe Out”.  It involves a grueling obstacle course where 32 contestants vie for $50,000.   I was crying I laughed so hard at these previews.  I can’t see this fast enough.  Click here to try out to be a contestant.  Aside:  Suzie…I know Survivor didn’t take you and that’s their loss….keep going for it!!!!!!

Another is “I Survived A Japanese Game Show”.  There is one event that’s been omitted from this show:  “Duck Before Komodo Dragon Eats Your Face”.

Like American Idol and Dancing with the Stars?  You might like “Dance Machine”, where regular people try to prove they can dance.

“The Mole” is coming back, more intense than previous episodes.  You can play along at abc.com.  If you want to try out, click here.

This fall, executive producer Ashton Kutcher will debut the ultimate block party in an etreme game show called “Opportunity Knocks”, where game shows go to neighborhoods.

“Border Security” is a series about the heroes who keep us safe at home.  It’s ABC’s version of COPS.

My second favorite:  “The Goode Family”, an animated comedy about an environmentally aware family with a vegan dog that’s so hungry for meat, it’s eating all the other dogs in the neighborhood.  This one’s from Mike Judge (Beavis and Butthead/King of the Hill).

Lost, the most recorded show on TV, found its way back.  And Desperate Housewives, the #1 show on TV last season, is back as well.

AB-See it!
