I usually have a period of resistance before I grow to love something.  But I don’t see an end to this era.  I hate my cordless drill.  Just tried to use it.  Isn’t it easier to hammer the screw in a ways, then, whether it be the phillips or flathead side of the screwdriver…do the rest manually?  And that’s frustrating in itself.  No matter what you do, chances are, you’re going to strip the screw.  Please no jokes, Jody.  How do you keep from doing this? 

I WAS having a great Sunday afternoon! 

Most weekend days, my friends (yes, I have some) and family email each other just to say what we’re doing.  Then, we sometimes report back on what we’ve done, like it was some big job assignment.   Want to play? 

I can’t wait to get outside today.  I don’t even know what for.  I just want to go outside and play.  I don’t want to waste this weather.  Just paid bills.  Will probably plant stuff.  Later, trying to entice my son home from college with chicken on the grill.  What are you doing?
